The RoadAR сompany will take part in the final exhibition of the VI republican youth forum “Our Tatarstan”. The forum will be held from April 21 to 23 at the Kazan IT-Park. The creation of the RoadAR will be presented within the “Territory of Security” thematic area. 120 best projects will get the possibility to take part in the “Ivolga” competition organized by the Volga Federal District.
The mobile application of RoadAR with the options of video recording, recognizing of road signs and warning about the zone of their application becomes increasingly popular. Drivers of more than 80 countries have already estimated the RoadAR at its true worth. Currently, the RoadAR database contains more than 2 million road signs, and the developers constantly work for improving the interface and users’ experience from using the application.
During the press conference at the “Tatar-Inform” news agency, Rifkat Minnikhanov, Head of the Traffic Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted that the great number of projects presented at the forum are implemented in future. “For example, the Autodoria project known among car owners ... The RoadAR mobile application – not less serious creation of the contestants. To date, the database of the application contains about 12 thousand road signs of the city. Every day the database is activated” – Rifkat Minnikhanov commented.
