Expert RA assigned A+ rating to RWM Capital Asset Management

12.05.2012

Expert RA rating agency analyzed the reliability and quality of services of RWM Capital Asset management and assigned the A+ rating to the company - “Very high level of reliability and quality of services”, stable forecast.

The high level of organization of risk management and the investment process have influenced positively on the rating of RWM Capital Managing Company. High profitability (ROE is equal to 75% and 79% in 2010 and 2011 respectively) and an acceptable level of effectiveness of asset management. Moreover, agency analytics marked the high position of the Managing Company at the dedicated market of closed share investment funds (the 5th place according to the total assets under management as to the results in 2011). “Blagosostoyanie non-government pension fund (NGPF) is an owner of a part of the company’s shares. So we have marked the interest of one of the NGPF market leaders in development of RWM Capital Asset Management”, Pavel Mitrofanov, head of corporate and investment ratings department of Expert RA said.

The low level of capital adequacy of RWM Capital Managing Company (as of December 31, 2011 the owned assets to assets under management ratio is 0.003) and reduction of assets under management in 2011 restrained the rating level. The low level of diversification of activity (the company operates only in the segment of closed share investment funds) and the low level of diversification of its client base were restraining factors, as well.

According to the review of the results of activity of the largest managing companies in Q1 2012 held by Expert RA RWM Capital Managing Asset Management held the 14th place according to the total assets volume under management (32,536 million roubles).
