The representatives of RWM Capital which conducts trust management of the endowment fund of Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) took part in the graduation ceremony of the University. The ceremony took place on July 04, 2014.
“Graduation is an important and joyful event in the life of each student, - says Anna Matveeva, head of Direction for Development of RSUH. – But we would be pleased if connection of our graduates with their University did not cease with today’s ceremony. It is important that they remember their alma-mater and want to return here in the new capacity, as people who support and develop the University.
Last year during the graduation ceremony the sale of the badges containing the logo image of RSUH was organized which were in high demand among graduates of year 2013 and which helped to raise more than 40 thousand Rubles for the endowment fund of the University. Thanks to those funds RSUH managed to start implementation of several important projects including organization of the Day of RSUH and reorganization of the interior space of the University. This year the exclusive souvenir products prepared specifically for graduation of year 2014 were offered at the graduation ceremony. We offered out graduates such souvenirs that could serve them for a long time and be of use as well as remind them of the University. Obviously we expected that all souvenirs will be sold and our expectations were fulfilled. Graduates are not indifferent to the future of their University and they have already proved that by actively buying our souvenirs. All money received from the sale will be transferred to the endowment fund of RSUH under management of RWM Capital.
“RSUH actively engages students and graduates in charity activities and this is as it should be, – comments Felix Blinov, CEO of RWM Capital Investment Group – The University focuses on development of relations and partnership in the name of the future and therefore any work aimed at increase of the endowment fund is very important as it’s work for the future. By increasing the endowment fund we transfer the funds back for realization of the projects important for development of the University. In other words, all the money collected from the events similar to today’s souvenir sale will anyhow remain in the University and will be used for its benefit. I would like to sincerely congratulate graduates on this significant event in their lives. I wish them professional success, prosperity and let their ties with their alma-mater not end with today’s ceremony”.
“The University and its graduates must work together, - says Natalia Barysheva, head of the endowment funds management program of RWM Capital, – Even a small badge purchased as a souvenir will contribute to strengthening of the ties. Presently many Russian universities restore associations and clubs of graduates. As compared to what we had a couple of years ago, we can positively state that the matter of cooperation has moved off the dead center. The universities have made considerable progress. Now they offer not just membership in their associations but also real benefits for their graduates. 96% of Universities which at present have graduate associations organize regular meetings, 70% offer consultations and help with employment and carrier. Higher schools also offer special partnership programs, the opportunity to use libraries, sport facilities etc.
This spring RSUH also created the “RSUH Graduates Club” and all today’s heroes of the day will receive a membership card. The activity of the club is aimed at support of graduates, realization of joint projects, experience exchange etc. This is the first step on the way to establishing ties with graduates. We are very glad that RSUH has been moving in that direction and we are willing to provide further assistance and support in the matter of organization of fund raising activities”.
