Felix Blinov, CEO of «RWM Capital» Investment group, became the laureate of National award "Director of year" in the nomination "Professional Director, state company". Members of the jury and the expert community highly appreciated his efficient work in companies with state participation.
The ceremony of winner and laureates awarding took place in December 1st, 2015 in the framework of the X annual all-Russian forum on corporate governance.
National award "Director of the year" is a meaningful and important event for all professionals and I am extremely pleased to become a winner, says Felix Blinov. – Development of corporate governance is a long process and during the forum all participants agreed that in our country it is a relatively new field that is rapidly progressing. It is already of great importance in raising the investment attractiveness and sustainable development of the company. Today no one needs to prove that professional independent directors are required.
Time poses new challenges, makes new demands. Every company adapts basic mechanisms of corporate governance to the peculiarities of its activity. Both shareholders and investors are aware that good corporate governance promotes transparency and reputation, increase of the efficiency of managerial decisions, risk reduction and, as a result, increase market capitalization.
