The company RoadAR – resident of RWM Capital Venture Investments, won the independent expert research made by iPhones.ru "The battle of the drivers video recorders". For participation the authors selected four of the most popular free DVR applications for mobile phones and one RoadAR became one of them.
The test evaluated the interface, quality of the recording, maps, interaction with driver, the functionality of the free app. According to the results of the test drives the RoadAR project scored the most points. Working with maps and interaction with the driver got 10 points out of 10. The authors noted a good mix of video and display of current location and the further route. The simplicity of regime change was also highly appreciate.
Among the key features that distinguish RoadAR from the competitors were signs recognition and alerting the driver of excessive speeds, upcoming dangerous curves and changes in the traffic situation. "This DVR has no equal," say the study authors. One of the few wishes which are expressed iPhones.ru – increase the record button, because "on the bumpy road it is not easy to press REC".
"We are pleased that the simplicity, functionality and convenience of our app were highly appreciated by the resource iPhones.ru - says Evgeny Nikolsky, CEO of RoadAR. – Mobile app RoadAR already appreciated the drivers in more than 80 countries. Our database contains more than 2 million signs. But we mind not only quantitative but also qualitative indicators, therefore we are constantly working on improving the interface and user experience from using the app. It should not bother you and this should give a maximum of useful information.
