The team of volunteers of RWM Capital participated for the second time in the all-Russian cross-country race “Hero Race” which took place on June 20, 2015 in the military base near the city of Alabino (Moscow region). We are proud to report that our team overcame every difficulty and every team member managed to reach the finish line. Our squad number 715 took the 7th place out of 17.
“This year we ran the race as a mixed team as our colleagues from the company “TransFin-M” joined us, - Felix Blinov, the Managing Director of RWM Capital Asset Management comments. - Many times we met them during the RWM volleyball cup and we know that "TransFin-M" employs friendly, brave and strong people. That’s why during this race we soon became a solid team. Our team did not manage to take the medal place but to be honest we had not set such an objective. We decided to face this really hard challenge for the second time solely in order to once again test our strength and to experience this powerful adrenaline rush.
This year it was much easier to finish the 10-kilometer track. Probably that is because this time we were fully aware of what we were going to face. Shots, dust, dirt, ditches and hills made us strain every sinew. Fortunately, we were lucky with the weather and the shower began only after all teams had finished the race. Thanks to the organizers for such a positive and extreme event.”
