A joint project of RWM Capital Investment Group and Krasnoyarsk Recycling Company (part of RWM Capital Group) – “Go Green!” video series” – won the National Environmental Award of Komsomolskaya Pravda Media Group in the Eco-Enterprise category.
The concept of the Go Green! project provides for the filming of short videos, lasting up to 60 seconds, motivating the viewer to reduce the use of unsustainable disposable products – plastic and paper cups, disposable tableware, bags, shavers, etc. Instead of disposable things, you can always find a more environmentally friendly alternative – for example, using cloth shopper bags instead of disposable ones, reusable mugs instead of non-recyclable disposable coffee cups, etc.
“This is the second series of videos in which we talk about the importance of green attitude toward the environment and life in general. In our first project, Sort Consciously, we encouraged consumers to collect waste separately, which would allow more MSW to be sent for recycling. Now we're talking about a reasonable reduction in the use of disposable products, which will ultimately reduce the amount of non-recyclable waste that causes irreparable harm to the environment. We demonstrate these things using examples of well-known Krasnoyarsk people, we bring this “story” closer to the consumers, helping them think about the possible personal input of any single person to this process,” said Felix Blinov, General Director of RWM Capital Investment Group.
The National Environmental Award of Komsomolskaya Pravda Media Group is a professional award for the achievements of companies, public organizations and influencers who implement technologies to reduce emissions and save more energy in Russia. The main mission is to emphasize the importance of respect for nature. In 2022, the Environmental Prize of KP Media Group was held for the second time, and 148 applications in seven categories were submitted.
