The value of net assets under the management of RWM Capital Management Company (a part of RWM Capital Investment Group) increased to 76 billion rubles as of the end of 2022. At the end of 2021, the assets under the company's management amounted to 47 billion rubles, thus, the annual growth was 61.7%.
In 2022, the number of funds under the management of RWM Capital MC increased by three major new funds, including a fund for qualified investors, and the assets of this fund include real estate from four regions of Russia, marketable securities, cash in rubles and foreign currency.
As of the end of 2022, the company was managing 20 closed-end unit investment funds (CEUIFs) and two endowment funds.
“In 2022, we saw an exponential growth in market participants' interest in asset management services,” says Felix Blinov, CEO of RWM Capital Investment Group.
According to him, given the right of issuers not to disclose their statements, investors have fewer opportunities to independently assess the risks of their investments, while professional managers use a wider pool of instruments for risk assessment, compared to individual non-professional investors.
According to Blinov, in 2023 the asset management market will continue its growth, as it meets the current demands of both institutional and private investors.
